Positive Affirmation

I am honorable and self-respectable

Theme of the Day

Being honorable and respectable are strong business skills that are some of the important ingredients needed for success.

Welcome to Day 52 of the challenge.  If you’re jumping in right now, be sure to check out the Welcome to the Triple Dog Dare to get started.  The previous days are listed at the bottom of each post with a hyperlink.

The Queen of Wands appears today to encourage you to honor the power you have within to command your own ship and the power to create new directions.

Queen of Wands

Rider-Waite Tarot by U.S. Games Incorporated

While it’s easy to look to others for direction, the Queen of Wands invites you to look within.  You have all the power you have inside of you to lead the way.  The gentle voice that urges youth take the next step or that recommends that you go left instead of right is your spirit speaking to you.

If you don’t like the direction your business is going, then you have the power to stop everything until you can decide what is the best course of action to take.

The battle of life is, in most cases, fought uphill; and to win it without a struggle were perhaps to win it without honor.  If there were no difficulties there would be no success; if there were nothing to struggle for, there would be nothing to be achieved. – Samuel Smiles

One client came in and was working in a job that she did not like.  From the start, everything was wrong: the company she worked for, the people, the mission, and all that jazz.  She went because she needed the money to pay her bills.  However, she knew that if she stayed with the company, her spirit would die.

We consulted with tarot and looked at the metaphysical energies at play.  While it was clear that she was not happy with where she was, this job was an important piece of her spiritual journey.  The Queen of Wands appeared as a reminder that she is in charge of her life.  It was through this position that she learned the power she had within, and she could create any reality she wanted.

The information the client learned was enough for her to remain at her current job while she searched for a new job.  She felt empowered and knew that she held the power to steer her own life.

What about you?
