I am trusting of my inner feelings.
Theme of the Day
There is great potential in stepping into trusting yourself and allowing your creative juices to flow.
Welcome to Day 27 of the challenge. If you’re jumping in right now, be sure to check out the Welcome to the Triple Dog Dare to get started. The previous days are listed at the bottom of each post with a hyperlink.
Years and years of being lied to, gaslighted, and more… usually results constant doubt of anything your inner get tells you. Over time, your mind, body and spirit become disconnected from one another. The result is the loss of trusting your inner feelings. This is when self-doubt, second-guessing and fear sweeps in and fills that space.
The repairing of that takes time and requires a lot of spiritual work. Some scars will take a lifetime to heal while others will heal after a week or so. It’s quite difficult to say which aspect of the human mind, body and soul will heal the fastest.
Most good relationships are built on mutual trust and respect. – Mona Sutphen
As you continue your journey towards healing, take this time to allow your creative juices flow. Ace of Cups reminds you that there is great power in taking the pain you feel within as you navigate towards your ability to trust your inner feelings and creating something.
A few of my students over the years have experienced deep pain and a loss of trust in those around them. They were filled with extreme self doubt and wanted to be able to rebuild the strength of their inner feelings. Some would create sculptures and different aspects of the sculpture would represent a traumatized aspect of themselves. Others would write poetry and they would thread the words together to create beautiful literary representations of their pain.
Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep. – Scott Adams
When others viewed their work, it evoked something deep within themselves and they in turn wanted to tap into their creative potential to allow their creative juices to flow so they could express what resided deep within themselves. Over time, the more they created something, the more they were able to trust their instincts. They were able to trust themselves to take the next step and allow themselves to be guided by their inner feelings.
Side note: One does not have to be in great pain to create great artwork or be creative. Anyone has the ability to use their inner feelings as a guide to create amazing content.
You have ONE Triple Dog Dare Challenge today. Read the challenges and close your eyes to connect with what the challenge is asking of you. Allow yourself to walk through the experience and be sure to capture as much as you can with your words as well as intent.
Triple Dog Dare Challenge #1: Close your eyes and take a 5 deep breaths. Allow yourself to be connected to the source (angels or spirit guides). Ask one question, take a pause and then check in with your gut. Listen without any judgment. What is the first impression you get? Try to prevent your mind from over-riding that initial feeling you get. Do this with 2 or 3 more questions, and then take a break.
Some people prefer to listen to their gut and then write down the response to prevent the mind from erasing what they feel inside. Do this activity on a regular basis and you’ll be able to trust yourself more and more over time.
Once you’ve completed your Triple Dog Dare Challenge, celebrate it! I invite you to step out of your comfort zone and share with us in the comments below so we can celebrate with you.
