Welcome to Day 44 of the challenge.  If you’re jumping in right now, be sure to check out the Welcome to the Triple Dog Dare to get started.  The previous days are listed at the bottom of each post with a hyperlink.

You’ve just come from a harrowing experience that resulted in some severe heartbreak, so naturally your spirit wants to take the time to heal. Honor your spirit and take some time to rest.

Four of Swords

Four of Swords appears in your life now because it’s time to embrace the peace in your life now.  Grab a hot mug of tea, curl up with a great book, and disconnect from the world.  It takes time for your spirit to heal.

I just want to say, good night, sweet prince, may flights of angels sing thee to thy rest. – Harry Dean Stanton

There will be moments when you reflect upon the past: What are you going to do now?  Where are you going now?  What if the same issues crop up again?

Despite the mental chatter, know that when you give your body the chance to rest, your spirit can gather up all the energy in the metaphysical universe so when you’re done resting, you can move forward with renewed vigor.

Many of my clients are successful business owners who find it hard to disconnect from their work lives.  When I explain to them the importance of really disconnecting from the world around them for a short while, they surrender and incorporate recuperative time into their schedules.

The much needed recuperation and rest allows for you to weather any tough storms that come your way.

When you feel it’s too hard to take a break, here is a song for you:
