I am strong and can face difficult decisions with great ease.
Theme of the Day
Life is filled with crossroads and it’s up to you to face each and every situation with great clarity.
Welcome to Day 42 of the challenge. If you’re jumping in right now, be sure to check out the Welcome to the Triple Dog Dare to get started. The previous days are listed at the bottom of each post with a hyperlink.
The Two of Swords appears today because you’re feeling a bit indecisive. Usually the reason behind indecision is the lack of information on a situation or refusal to see the options that are before you.
There is a great need for a well-balanced approach in everything you do at this point. Decisions can be quite difficult to make, but know that you can make a decision. All you need to do is take the blindfold off and weigh all of your options. If you’re not sure what decision to make, be sure to reach out to a trusted advisor and seek out advice. Often times, we make our situations more than what it really is.
A client came to me, in tears because she couldn’t see a way out of her situation. All hope seemed lost. She didn’t know if she should remain with her current business or embark on a new one. Her current business involved a business partner that did not have the same vision as she did like they did when they first started together.
Her new business was a solo venture that would give her more freedom and she had more knowledge about it that she felt it would be successful. However, she felt bound to the current business and did not see a way out of it.
It feels good to have your own views reflected back to you, and you feel so right, but actually it’s very dangerous. Because to make good decisions, you need to have a clear view of what all the options are. – Eli Pariser
When we did a reading, it turned out that she had one strong option: sit down and have a heart-to-heart chat with her business partner. The outcome was not going to be amicable, but nonetheless it was required for a clean, healthy break.
When I followed up with her, she revealed that her business partner had been feeling the exact same way and was happy that they were able to come to an amicable agreement on how to dissolve the business.
