Life Is A Beautiful Mystery

Day 19: 78 DayTriple Dog DareChallenge (1)

Positive Affirmation

I am aware of my dreams.

Theme of the Day

Life is a beautiful mystery.  One where the subconscious speaks to you in dreams via riddles and imagery.

Welcome to Day 19 of the challenge.  If you’re jumping in right now, be sure to check out the Welcome to the Triple Dog Dare to get started.  The previous days are listed at the bottom of each post with a hyperlink.

The Moon shows up quite a bit when I’m reading for clients.  They want to know the exact steps to take in their business, so they can be successful.  More times than not, the energetic suggestions emerge pretty openly, but other times… crickets…

This is understandable because the universe is not ready to reveal the exact steps to get where you need to take… yet. This reminds me of my beautiful Jane Magnolia that sits in my front yard.  The JM blooms ONCE a year and the petals exist for three weeks, provided that hail or snow does not come unexpectedly and bruise everything up.

Right now, I watch the tree every single time I pass by it.  There are small, furry green buds on the branches.  Each bud reminds me of the potential beauty within, but I know that the Jane Magnolia must go through the cycles of the seasons before we get to see those beautiful pink and white petals.

The Moon is exactly like that — the beauty is hidden and is not ready to be revealed yet.  The same goes for specific steps one wants to know to take so their business could be successful.

Every life is complicated.  Every mind a kingdom of unmapped mysteries. – Dean Koontz

What does one do exactly during this time?

Now is a time to turn towards your dreams for answers and keep a dream journal as you’d be surprised what comes to you.  Or there might be a moment of clarity when you’re reflecting upon your previous dream journal entries. it is then you’ll gather enough wisdom to take the next actionable step forward.

Life is not a problem to be solved, but a mystery to be lived.  Follow the path that is no path, follow your bliss. – Joseph Campbell

You have TWO Triple Dog Dare Challenges today.  Read the challenges and close your eyes to connect with what the challenge is asking of you.  Allow yourself to walk through the experience and be sure to capture as much as you can with your words as well as intent.

Triple Dog Dare Challenge #1: Find a journal you feel that you would be able to keep on your nightstand. Visit different stores in person or online.  Every night you go to bed, tell yourself that you will remember your dreams the best you can and when you wake up, write in your dream journal.

Side note: Be sure to leave some space on the right or left margins so when it’s time to decipher your dreams, you have additional space to write extra notes.

Triple Dog Dare Challenge #2: After you’ve written in your dream journal for a while, go back and try to decipher what your dreams mean.  Circle key words and make notes in the margin with a different color ink.

Once you’ve completed your Triple Dog Dare Challenge, celebrate that!  Invite you to step out of your comfort  zone and share with us in the comments below so we can celebrate with you.
