Five of Swords reminds you that you might have to try extra hard to be sensitive towards others.  This card indicates that you might be taking things that are not really yours and you’re being deceptive. Or you need to choose your battles and use your power wisely.

As I write this, ONE specific man comes to mind.  Rather than naming names, I’ll present the different situations in which he has appeared in my peripherals.

A friend asked me to go with her to a networking event. I agreed because I love meeting new people.  A man crossed paths with me.  My friend had glowing things to say about him, but her words did not match what I saw in him.  Underneath his charm was an unscrupulous, conniving, and dishonest character.  Whenever he spoke, others around him bought into his false promises and didn’t think twice about handing their money over to him.  They wanted the promises he sold.

I couldn’t get away from him fast enough and made sure I didn’t cross paths with him again.

As time passed, many people I met had their businesses ruined by him.  He took their money, made false promises, and did not deliver on any of them.  In fact, he gaslighted them by stating that THEY were the reason their business failed.  He charged hundreds of dollars for people to be part of his ‘elite’ group that resulted in no business leads.

It pained me to see so many people get taken, but one telling thing I heard repeatedly: my gut told me something was off. Oddly enough, others chastised themselves for not going with their first gut instinct because it would have saved them hundreds of dollars down the road.

Always. Go. With. Your. First. Gut. Instinct.

You have TWO Triple Dog Dare Challenges today.  Read the challenges and close your eyes to connect with what the challenge is asking of you.  Allow yourself to walk through the experience and be sure to capture as much as you can with your words as well as intent. 

Triple Dog Dare Challenge #1: Think back to a time when you were unscrupulous or selfish.  Why did you feel the need to steal away someone else’s energy?  What could you have done different to empower yourself another way?  Take some time and converse with your spirit to help you explore ways to vibrate at a higher level so you don’t have to be unscrupulous or selfish.

Triple Dog Dare Challenge #2: Examine your life now.  Identify any people in your life that make you feel uncomfortable and create a plan to maintain some distance from that person. Revisit your decision in a week and write down how you feel now since that person is no longer in your immediate circle.
