Welcome to Day 10 of the challenge. If you’re jumping in right now, be sure to check out the Welcome to the Triple Dog Dare to get started. The previous days are listed at the bottom of each post with a hyperlink.
I will take a moment to pause so I can hear the wisdom within.
Theme of the Day
Take some time to withdraw so you can contemplate and strengthen your connection with your inner wisdom.
Many times our focus in on the external: social media, socialization, closing business deals, giving speeches, presentations, networking, schmoozing with the right people, building your business, creating content, product releases, and the list is endless. While the external is vital to the success of your business, so is going within.
Each person deserves a day away in which no problems are confronted, no solutions searched for. Each of us needs to withdraw from the cares which will not withdraw from us. – Maya Angelou
Going away from the external and going into the internal allows you to reflect and learn more about what you already know coupled with what you don’t know. The Hermit shows up at a time when it is important to sit in silence to exercise introspection.
You can discover more about a person in an hour of play than in a year of conversation. – Plato
The Hermit stands on top of snow capped mountains and stands still as he holds a long, slender staff as well as a lamp. The light within the lamp is no ordinary light source. Rather this light source is crafted from the six pointed star, which is a symbol of wisdom. Just like his staff – long and narrow – he invites you walk a very focused path that will lead you towards the knowledge you seek.
The guidance The Hermit offers you will enrich your business.
All that is important comes in quietness and waiting. – Patrick Lindsay
You have TWO Triple Dog Dare Challenges today. Read the challenges and close your eyes to connect with what the challenge is asking of you. Allow yourself to walk through the experience and be sure to capture as much as you can with your words as well as intent.
Triple Dog Dare Challenge #1: Schedule a date with yourself where you can be alone with your thoughts. During this time: meditate, contemplate, and examine yourself.
Triple Dog Dare Challenge #2: You don’t always have to respond to every message, text, post, or comment that comes your way. There is power in silence. Pick a day of the week that you will unplug from the world so you can just be.
Once you’ve completed your Triple Dog Dare Challenge, celebrate that! Invite you to step out of your comfort zone and share with us in the comments below so we can celebrate with you.
You’re super important and so is your journey. I’d love to hear how the Triple Dog Dare Challenge has enhanced your personal and/or professional life. Leave a comment and enrich the lives of our other readers. Pay your experiences forward.
How may I serve you?
My focus is to serve 1200 people in the 2017 – 2018 year so they can use their intuition and messages from the spirit to develop, grow, and sustain their business. There’s nothing more powerful that being connected to the divine to help people accomplish their mission they’ve declared for themselves.
