Positive Affirmation of the Day:
Through love and respect for the spirit, luck is infinite.
Central Theme of Your Writing Piece for the Day:
As a writer it’s sometimes difficult to trust the spirit to guide us into the realm of luck. Some folks have a talisman they carry to maintain their lucky state. Others rely on faith. No matter what works for you, know that luck is infinite.
A Personal Experience:
Overheard in the classroom: My luck just ran out.
How many times have you heard someone say this? How many times have you thought this?
I know that many clients I work with and many of my students that come into my classroom as thought this. Some have even voiced this aloud.
Please know that luck is infinite. It does not “run out”. Sometimes there are days that might feel like you have no luck at all, but luck is not at play in those instances. It’s your focus.
If you think yourself in luck, then you will always be in luck.
You have two writing challenges for your intuitive connection journal today. Read the challenges and close your eyes to connect with that snippet of time. Allow yourself to walk through the experience and be sure to capture as much as you can with your words.
Writing Challenge #1: Close your eyes and connect with your spirit. Visualize yourself stepping into the realm of “luck”. Allow yourself to remain in that state of mind. When you are finished with this task, then for 20 minutes write down what luck feels like for you. Describe what it looks like for you.
Writing Challenge #2: Revisit the time when you felt you were the luckiest. Why did you feel lucky at that time? What was going on when you felt lucky? Write these experiences down. After you have written your lucky experiences in your journal, every day read out loud to yourself what you wrote. Do this for seven days. Over time, you will remain in the state of “being lucky”. Who knows, you might end up where you want to be with your writing!
Once you’ve completed your writing challenge, set it aside. After some days have passed, return to your work and see how you can incorporate some of what you have written into your current book.
