Positive Affirmation of the Day:
My spirit helps me find the right direction in life.
Central Theme of Your Writing Piece for the Day:
Four of Diamonds represents the four directions: North, East, South and West.
Is your character at a cross roads in their life?
Does your character need a spiritual compass?
Is your character listening to his/her spiritual compass?
Knight (Jack) of Clubs is the general representation of a friend in your character’s life. Friend in this instance can be a living person or a spiritual entity.
Combine these two cards and what does that mean for your character?
Life is funny. The ebbs and flows of life takes us all through a smorgasbord of emotions during the week. One moment, there seems to be enough of time in the day. Business runs smoothly. Work is great. People are happy. All of your decisions come easy. You know exactly what is going to happen and when. Time feels infinite. The shines brightly…. And yes.. The birds sing their glorious tunes!
As you feel as if everything around you hums along like a well-oiled machine — life throws you a wicked ass curve ball.
Doubt creeps in. Time feels finite. People become cranky and impatient. You’re lost all sense of direction. Decisions prove to be difficult. Bumps in your business turn into mountains. Oh, yes — the birds stopped signing. And to top it off, you have been offered your dream job, but it will require a major sacrifice on your part.
How do you make a big decision in your life in the midst all the chaos? What direction do you go? Should you do this? What if it’s wrong? What if it’s right? Can you make that major sacrifice?
What the heck do you do?
Better yet, what does your character do?
Most people freak out — initially — but then they remove themselves from the chaos and :
Consult with a close friend or mentor about the decisions they need to make.
- Meditate and clear their minds so they can think clearly.
- Consult their oracles to get a snapshot of what is going on around them and where they are going.
- Reach out to their spirit and ask for guidance as to which path to take.
Your character may utilize one or some of the actions in the list above.
I Dare You To Take Action:
Take a look at the scene — either in your head or on paper — and think about how your character would handle the chaos in his/her life. How does your character remove him/herself from the daily stresses of life in order to make sound decisions?
Choose one of the four scenarios in the list above and write how your character goes about this. Why does your character choose this path of calming the mind to make sound decisions? What does this look like? Write out the scenario!
Because life is about curve balls —
What happens when your character decides to relish in the chaos? What does that look like? What is the outcome? Good or bad? Why?
Write out the scenario!
