Positive Affirmation of the Day:

I have the power, authority and leadership over my own life.

Central theme of your writing piece for the day:

One of the striking features of this card is the King of Pentacles is grounded within the tree trunk as he holds a glowing acorn inches away from the palm of his hand.  The anchored tree symbolizes that he remains steadfast and is asking you to do the same.  Be strong and sturdy in your life and your decisions.  He also brings forth growth in the palm of his hand.  The acorn has a bright glow around it, which indicates enormous potential and there is no need to worry about the future.

What happens when you plant a small acorn in the ground?  It transforms into a large, sturdy oak tree.  The King of Pentacles comes to you and indicates that material success is yours and there is enough to go around.  His main focus is on the security of his family, and in a way….  you are part of his family.

I’m not sure about you, but when I go on my daily meditative walk, the acorns line the sidewalks.  A sure sign that fall is here.  I like hearing and feeling the crunch of the acorns under my shoes.  Some acorns I come across are huge and others are small.  Despite the size, the end result is the growth of a tree.  This translates into your writing as well.

Writing Focus:

It doesn’t matter if you have one book that you need to write or you have 35 books to write.  What matters is the message you share with others.  We all have acorns within us and we all have the amazing power to transform that power into something bigger than us.  However, not all of us will plant that acorn and nurture it.

Allow  your book to manifest.  Allow your short story to manifest.  Allow your memoir to manifest.

More times than not, folks who do not nurture their ideas or their potential don’t do it out of ill will, but rather the not knowing how to care for that potential they have within them.  Some folks do not know how to take that potential energy and transform it into actual energy that propels them forward.

What action will you take?  Will you allow that story to stay locked up inside of you forever and deprive others from growing ?  Or will you take that step forward, with that acorn of possibilities in your heart, and allow your story to be told?

The King of Pentacles brings forth wealth for your spirit and your soul.  Granted wealth also comes in the form of money.  The King of Pentacles offers sound advice in terms of finances.  So if you’re struggling to make ends meet or need some financial advice, the King of Pentacles is your guy.  For me, wealth doesn’t always mean currency.  It can mean an abundance of ideas, or friends, or material items, or something else.

Not sure if the King of Pentacles is talking to you about money or an abundance of something else?  Connect yourself with the divine and allow the spirit speak through you.  Only allow the highest good come to you.

In all, you were meant to write a story.  What is that story?  What is the wealth of information that you have stored within your heart that needs to be shared?  What is the idea that haunts you right before you go to bed?  What is the idea that haunts you when you wake up or are amongst friends?

I Dare You To Take Action Prompt:

Close your eyes and connect with the King of Pentacles.  Allow yourself to step into your highest form of energy and receive the message.  You can have security and a surge of ideas to write your message.  Take this time to journal for 20 minutes and write any ideas that come forth.  Cast aside the inner critic and editor, and just write.

Wondering where in the world I got this amazing card? It is part of the wonderful deck Shadowscapes Tarot by Stephanie Pui-Mun Law and Barbara Moore. *I am not an affiliate in any way. I bought the card deck because they were AWESOME!*
