Positive Affirmation of the Day:

My enthusiasm brings me friends and numerous rewards.

Central Theme of Your Writing Piece for the Day:

Anat urges your character to seize the opportunity to stand up for his/her rights and be fearless in their future quests!  Now is a good time for your character to voice his/her passions and let the entire world hear exactly how they feel.

If your character does not stand up for their beliefs or establish healthy boundaries with other people, then other people will trample all over them.  Even worse, what happens when one keeps their feelings bottled up inside?

Yep, you guessed it.  The aftermath is pretty ugly.  The hidden passion reaches a critical point and rears its ugly head. And pretty soon, everyone knows the deep dark secret that’s been hiding within.

Writing Focus:

Your character has found his/her voice!  Far too long has your character remained silent about his/her feelings.  Anat has infused your character with the power to step out of his/her comfort zone and find the strength to voice his/her concerns over an issue.

I like to think as Anat granting your character superpowers because it takes a lot of guts to define boundaries.  Most of us have that “nice gal/guy” kind of mentality and we don’t like to hurt other people.  Sometimes it’s essential to establish what we will and will not tolerate from others.  It’s also essential to listen to our passions as they will guide us to what our souls were meant to do.

Your character has a mission in life, what is it?

What are some ways your character can exert his/her voice to where others know exactly what your character will and will not tolerate?

Has your character been a pushover?  How does your character finally find his/her inner strength to overcome this?

As always, these questions are meant to get your mental juices going.  Use them as you wish, and allow your imagination to run wild!

I Dare You To Take Action Prompt:

Go through your rough draft and identify a wimpy character that could use a bit of Anat power.  Is this character too wimpy and needs to be a bit stronger?  Is another character dilly-dallying around and not really following his/her passion — get Anat in the picture and turn this character around?

Most of all, authors are sometimes reflected in their books, are you needing to establish some clear boundaries with others?  Where could you use the power of Anat in your life?

I’d love to hear how this oracle has enhanced your writing.  Leave a comment and enrich the lives of our other readers.  Pay your experiences forward.

Wondering where in the world I got this amazing stone? It is part of The Eye of Horus: An Oracle of Ancient Egypt by David Lawson. I’m not an affiliate in any way. I bought the oracle stones over 10 years ago because they really spoke to me!*
