Oracle of the Day: Ace of Cups

Tap into your subconscious and unleash your potential!

Tap into your subconscious and unleash your potential!

Positive Affirmation of the Day:

My positive actions have a ripple effect on those around me.

Central theme of your writing piece for the day:

Everything you do has a ripple effect according to the Ace of Cups.  What you do affects many people as you are part of a bigger cosmos.  On the spiritual level, our energies all intermingle with one another and build connections.  You unknowingly connect with other people and absorb some of their energies.

The fingerprint you want to leave behind is one that leaves a positive impact on the world around you.  Be the one who swims in the subconscious realm of the mystics and tap into the sensitive, receptive, and intuitive side of yourself.  **That’s where all the great stories are anyways.**

Writing Focus:

One of my favorite things to do is sit at the edge of a calm pond with a medium sized rock in my hand.  I like to hover the rock over the surface, drop it and watch it sink into the liquid abyss.  It’s not really an abyss, but the word sounded neat so I added it.  Okay, okay… Rewrite: I like to hover the rock over the surface, drop it and watch it sink to the bottom of the shallow pond.  What’s even more intriguing are the ripples that dance along the surface of the water.

One rock can change the surface of the entire pond.

Your rock can be:

The book you’ve always wanted to write.

The writing workshop you’ve always wanted to teach.

The memoir you have bottled up inside of you.

The erotic story that keeps you awake at night.

The fiction story that will educate people on the topic you’re passionate about.

One book that left a huge impact on me was a book called More Than Rice by Pamela Kennedy Chestnut. This book may or may not resonate with you.  It may or may not be the rock that creates the ripples in your pond, but she did have a lasting impression on me.  This book, although fiction that had non-fiction elements weaved throughout, forced me to take action.  Up until then, my activism remained passive.  Now, I try to find ways to make an active difference.

What is going to be your spiritual fingerprint?  How are you going to put the Ace of Cups to work for you? What does it look like?  Is your message the size of a small rock, a medium rock, or are you aiming for the big kahuna?  No matter what your topic is, if you connect to the spirit and you tap into your subconscious realm of your higher self — your message will always be the right one.

I Dare You To Take Action Prompt:

How do you know what kind of message do you need to deliver?  How are you going to be a light worker for another person?  How are you going to raise awareness?  How do you pick up that rock and toss it into the pond so the message is heard around the town, the state, and the world?

Your words carry power.  Your words can change lives.  Your words can make the world a better place to live in.  Not sure about that?  Take a look at some of the books that line the shelves.  One story that gave me goose bumps is when Ashley Smith was held hostage in her own house.  She picked up her book Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren and read a passage to the burglar.  A miracle happened!

SignatureListen to your message.  Hear it loud and clear.  Write it down!  Post it around your house so you can keep your focus.  Sure, doubt will creep in.  Stomp it out.  You need to leave time to write your message. Doubt just eats into that valuable time.

Wondering where in the world I got this amazing card? It is part of the wonderful deck Shadowscapes Tarot by Stephanie Pui-Mun Law and Barbara Moore. *I am not an affiliate in any way. I bought the card deck because they were AWESOME!*
