Central theme of your writing piece for the day:
Be willing to take a journey to the deepest and darkest parts of yourself. Trust the magic within you.
The Raven calls for you to explore your shadow self and to see the magic you have within yourself.
Is there a dark scene you’ve been wanting to write, but haven’t yet because it feels taboo? Is there a touching event that happened in your life that transformed you, but it’s too painful to touch upon? Are you being called to explore a part of your imagination, but you’re too entrenched in your own fear? The Raven calls for you to cast away the fear because you have the magic within you to write some incredible and powerful scenes.
When a Raven caws, the magnificent creature beckons the shadow self to emerge to the surface and recognize the magic that is deep within. Now is the time to step into the realm of your deepest desires, or better yet… your characters deepest desires.
When you purge a moving scene onto your pages, you come to accept parts of yourself. Those written words, when the become published will transform the lives of those who read your work. Your raw emotions and truths that come forth allow others to relate to you or come to terms with their own truths. Realizing one’s truth — this is were true freedom happens.
Will you step into your shadow self to release the magic to help others recognize their own truths?
I Dare You To Take Action Prompt:
We all have a shadow self. We all have secrets that we keep away from our loved ones. We are all made of multiples – desires, wants, and more. At the same time, we all have the magic within to create any world we wish.
Since the Raven is calling you, the writer, to step into the darkest parts of yourself — or one of the characters in your book — and allow this aspect to shine on the pages you write. The real magic lies within you.
