Central theme of your writing piece for the day:

The Page of Pentacles encourages you to learn the practical things in life.  Now is a great time to study all angles of your decision before you make any kind of commitment.  Once you’ve studied every angle, it’s time to expand your potential.

Writing Focus:

An owl – the keeper of intuitive knowledge – appears in this picture.  The owl whispers that you have the ability to see what is usually hidden.  At this time, you possess the powers to see things s they are than what you think they are.  Reality is revealed to you.

It’s easy to get blinded by all the busyness that consumes our lives.  Seeing the truth.  Seeing people as they truly are.  Seeing things as they truly are.

But…. but… what about the cool dragon that slumbers?

The Page of Pentacles sits near the sleeping dragon.  The Page can see the dragons wishes and dreams.  The Page of Pentacles has this INNER KNOWING of what really is.

Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.

Mahatma Gandhi

This reminds me of a book I once read, Angry White Pyjamas by Robert Twigger.  He wrote about his time in a one-year intensive program of studying Yoshinkan aikido.  Robert knew the only way to really become good at something, to really experience the true essence of Yoshinkan aikido, was to become immersed in the training.  As gruesome and rigorous as the training was, Robert embraced the true meaning of The Page of Pentacles.  He was a student who has a desire to learn all there is to know about a subject.

What stood out to me the most about this book is when he had to stay in a certain position for a long time.  This was to test his resolve.  Admirable in my book.

The questions here are: Does your character know the truth about the person they are dating?  Does your character know his/her spouse leads a double life?  Does your character need to develop a keener sense of intuition, perhaps by studying a situation a little more closely?

I Dare You To Take Action Prompt:

The Page of Pentacles challenges you to develop your character by starting with a seed of a desire and allow it to come to a raging fire.  Show your readers the spark and how your character studies, learns, and nourishes his/her potential.

What does you character truly desire?  What will you character do to learn that nugget of information?  Will your character be like Robert Twigger? Rocky?  Those who climbed Mt. Everest?  Everyday heroes?  Yourself?

Incorporate the message The Page of Pentacle brings into your rough draft?  You don’t have a rough draft yet, just working the thoughts out in your head?  No worries, this is a great time to free write.  Set your timer for 20 minutes and call upon the magic of The Page of Pentacles.

Know this: You are a talented writer and you have the potential to do anything!

I’d love to hear how this oracle has enhanced your writing.  Leave a comment and enrich the lives of our other readers.  Pay your experiences forward.

Wondering where in the world I got this amazing card? It is part of the wonderful deck Shadowscapes Tarot by Stephanie Pui-Mun Law and Barbara Moore. *I am not an affiliate in any way. I bought the card deck because they were AWESOME!*
