Central theme of your writing piece for the day:
The Dreamweaver crafts a dream catcher to catch the bad things and allows the good to touch you.
Your spirit travels to the dream world to get messages from your higher self.
Some of the great stories originate from dreams. The Dreamweaver has already crafted your dream catcher, so you are safe.
You are most powerful in your dreams and in many ways, you can bypass the conscious mind, which sometimes does not always translate the truth to you. In dreams, you are able to walk in your subconscious and see the truth.
Heck, one of my favorite reoccurring dream is where I see a bright yellow school bus parked along side the park and I’m standing on the top of the hill. I run as fast as I can down this huge hill only to catch enough wind under my arms and I …. soar like a bird. Oh, if only I could do that in real life.
Spend the next two weeks recording your dreams in a dream journal. Here is a great site on how to journal your dreams. I have always been a very big fan of recording dreams as some serve different purposes.
I Dare You To Take Action Prompt:
After you’ve recorded your dreams for two weeks, go back and read what you have written and illustrated. Find some gems within your journal and see what you can include in your current rough draft.
Or better yet, create a short story around your dream. Several writers have done this. Their dream contains so much vivid imagery, the temptation not to turn it into a vignette or short story is too great.
